For most beginners, everything you need to start tufting is already included in the Tukloom kit, so you can complete your first rug without buying anything else.

As you continue tufting, you may want to add a few optional items depending on your project:

• Additional yarn colors — for more complex or color-heavy designs.
• Extra primary or secondary backing cloth — useful if you want to make larger or multiple rugs.
• Rug glue — our kits include a glue spreader, but the glue itself is not included.
• Marker or projector — to help transfer detailed patterns onto the cloth.
